The shape of this piece is inspired by Korean Moon jars, i have always loved the soft round forms of them.
 
My interpretation is a little different from the inspiration, i have combined it with my fungi guardians sculpting on layers of little mushrooms, a signature guardian face and a little crescent moon handle.
 
This piece is glazed in layers of browns, blues, and greens that have melded together to create some beautiful drips and textures. The luna jar is glazed on the inside with a brown shimmer glaze and also features 24kt gold lustre. 
 
This piece measures 13cm tall by 12cm wide.
