My Lightbringers first came to life around the Autumn Equinox, as the days started to get darker earlier i started playing with lighting my sculptures more. i wanted my guardians to radiate warmth and light, a little reminder of the lighter and warmer days during the darkest depths of winter. 
 
This Light bringer is adorned on one side with many different sized shell fungus which are commonly found growing on trees, amoung the fungus you can find lots of little spores, some of which have been lustred in 24kt gold. 
This piece has been glazed in layers of white, orange, yellow, brown, and green glazes. As this piece has been fired these glazes have melted together to make the most beautiful drips and patterns. 
 
You can light this piece using a tealight or a battery powered tealight, My personal preference is a battery powered tealight as it will stop your piece from getting hot over time. 
 
This piece measures around 12cm tall.
