Why can't pottery have both a funtion but also be a beautiful piece of art?!
As an avid mug lover, i wanted to create mugs that were a joy to use but also were mini sculptural works.
 
Each mug is completely unique as i build a base mug then carefully sculpt onto it. This mug features tiny sculpted barnacles around one of my signature guardian faces with little 3D 24Kt gold coral spores surrounding the barnacles. I wanted my siren pieces to look like something that had washed up on the shoreline, perfect for a mermaid or siren!
 
I have glazed this mug in layers of blue and green glazes to represent story dark seas.
The inside of this mug is glazed in a cream with little brown speckles. 
 
Mug holds around 375ml of your chosen liquid and measures 9cm tall by 9cm wide
 
My mugs are dishwasher safe but not microwave safe due to the gold lustre.
