Towards the end of August one of my favourite plants shows up. Ancient and enduring, blackberries have been around for thousands of years sustaining us into the colder months. 
I welcome the autumn in with blackberry stained finger tips much like those who came before me, and hopefully those who will come after.
 
 
This sculpture stands around 7cm tall and 6cm wide
